Encore, Encore Presentation, “Home for the Holidays”

Encore, Encore is CYT-Spokane’s traditional year-end celebration and fundraiser for CYT Families. It is a look back on some of the class and show numbers from this past year, and an exciting look forward to our upcoming year and all that it will hold for us.

This year, the date and time for Encore, Encore is Tuesday, December 28th at 6pm at the Bing Crosby Theater. The theme is “Home for the Holidays” and we look forward to sharing this elegant, semi-formal event with all of our CYT families!

Tickets are now on sale for the event through the CYT Office, 509-487-6540. For all performers, CYT students, and CYT alumni, tickets are $8.00 apiece. Regular attenders are $18.00 apiece, with a couple rate of $30.00.

We hope that you will all be able to join us in this wonderfully merry time of celebration!

HYPE Presents Operation Christmas Child Packing Party

About twenty-five CYT-Spokane students gathered last night to pack shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. The goal is to fill shoeboxes with simple gifts to send to underprivileged children in countries all over the world.

To the tunes of Christmas music and with a little help from some fudge & chocolate-covered pretzels, these students, led by HYPE, our student leaders, filled boxes with love and gifts galore.

They even packed a box in record-time – only four and a half minutes! In total, twenty-seven boxes were packed. Thank you to all who donated or participated in packing last night! It was a wonderfully fun night, and we are excited about all the boxes that get to be sent from CYT-Spokane!

Winter 2011 Class Schedule

We are excited to present our Winter 2011 Class Schedule ( see below) and we are now accepting reservations for classes through the office.

Currently, we are undergoing a transition to a new management system on our website through CYT National. We are planning for the new system to be up and running by December 3^rd, however, we are accepting paid reservations for spots in each class through the office until that date. Please note that unlike previous sessions, registration and class listings are not available on our website yet as that is part of the new management system, and will be made available on December 3^rd.

If you wish to reserve a spot in a class, you may call or stop by the office with your payment, child’s name, and class choice and we will reserve their spot. Once the new management system is launched, you will receive an email with further instructions on how to create your account and get your child enrolled in classes. You may also reserve your spot with payment at any of our three showcases occurring Nov. 16^th, 18^th, and 22^nd.

The new system will be easier and more efficient for everyone, and we are excited about the advances it will bring to CYT-Spokane. We appreciate your patience as we all approach it together, and if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the office.
